Selling real estate for us is not really a job. We have met so many wonderful people over the past eight years. A lot of our clients have become very personal friends. In the summer months we always seem to have many invites to visit them.
Last year we went on a horseback trail ride in Calgary Canada with the Bruens Family who purchased a condo and a lot where they have just completed their home. We also spent time with the Scanlon’s in Vancouver enjoying the Sunshine Coast. This summer we will be sailing in Tahiti with a number of our clients/Friends.
There are so many things to do in Los Barriles and surrounding area, however what makes all these activities so enjoyable are the wonderful people in our area. I think we had more friends after our first year here, then we had in San Diego having lived there for 20 plus years, we barely knew our next door neighbors.
Kite Boarding and fishing are Jeff’s favorite activities, while excursions to some of the more remote areas along the East Cape, as well as an occasional overnighter in Cabo, La Paz or Todos Santos for a change of pace are enjoyable for Kimberly. We also enjoy paddle boarding, snorkeling, ATV riding and mountain biking.
It’s a great destination and now that championship golf and marina services are coming soon, the area will have more family options for vacationers. Whether your mountain biking the wide variety of trails, taking a Quad Ride to Bahia del Los Suenos, or hiking to Flat Top mountain, you may run into Kimberly and Jeff.
It’s really not all about Real Estate sales, it’s the lifestyle we enjoy the most.

I have always liked living close to the ocean because I grew up in Veracruz, which is located by the Golf of Mexico. I have also had the opportunity to live in big cities such as Mexico City and Los Angeles. My time here in Los Barriles has been a wonderful experience for both my family and myself since I moved here 5 years ago.
Some of the things I enjoy the most are the beautiful nature, the peace and quiet and the fact that it is very safe here. I enjoy walking on the beach in the morning and watching the sunrise of the Sea of Cortez.
My 12 year-old Grandaughter, Alexis and I love to fish from the shore. Alexa moved here 1 year ago from California and is attending the local school and is now bilingual.
She also enjoys many different activities here such as swimming & snorkeling, we also have discovered many fun activities that we can do together like riding ATV's, mountain biking, flying kites on the beach and many other wonderful possibilities to live a full and wonderful life.
Melisa Tiernan
I'm a sale's agent for Jeff and Kimberly. I've been living here for almost two years. I moved here from Iowa with my husband and two children. In our free time we like to snorkel, fish, swim, and hang out by the pool enjoying the views. You can generally find me in my home office near El Cardinal which is 15 miles North of Los Barriles. I specialize in this area as it is somewhat remote, but offers plenty of fantastic investment opportunities.
One of the projects I represent is Casas Las Tinas which is a beach development with recreation center, and all the services just North of El Cardonal. I hope I can help you find your piece of Baja.
